Hastings Fishing4u

The Fishing4u project is run in association with Active Hastings. Originally set up in 2002 to use angling to engage young people in deprived communities in the Hastings area, it was incorporated into provisions advertised through the councils Active Hasting Scheme. The result is a nested approach where angling is offered as universal provision, but where young people from deprived communities, or those particularly excluded, are targetted through direct invitation.
