Angling For Youth Development (AFYD)
AFYD is a personal and social development angling organisation working with young people. It was established in 2004 and has multiple projects operating across Scotland. It works to build young people's confidence and self esteem through education and coaching session across all three angling disciplines.
Location:Angling Projects
Established in 1976, Angling projects run by Les Webber MBE is the longest running angling intervention project working with young people. It offers free accommodation and fishing sessions drawing in youth groups from all over the country and is staffed completely by volunteers.
Location:Borderlines
Borderlines is an angling engagement project established in 2005 to work throughout the Cumbria area, particularly in and round Carlisle. It provides activities in game, sea and course and works closely with local schools, youth offending teams and the local community to particularly engage those who are disadvantaged, disables or requiring rehabilitation.
Location:CAST
CAST was established as a project in Newstead Village in 2001, but now operates across the wider Nottingham area. It was recently involved in the successful village SOS bid and is working to develop long disused mining land to provide a fishery, music and education venue for the local community.
CAST North West
CAST North West is a charity operating out of Wigan in the North West. It is one of a select range of alternative education providers for the Wigan area.
Catch 21
Catch 21 is a project run out of Thames 21 that offers young people opportunities to engage in angling across London. It makes use of the waters across London to provide coaching sessions throughout the school holidays, focusing in particular on deprived areas and young people at risk of offending.

The Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club was founded by Lucy Bowden in April 2008.
For Life Experinces
Based at Greenridge Farm Fishery just outside of Southampton, For Life Experience is a social enterprise that aims to introduce people of all ages to the positive benefits of fishing and outdoor education.
They work with families and groups of young people delivering both on site and across south England and Norfolk.
Location:GHOF Midlands (Birmingham)
GHOF Midlands (Birmingham) was established in 2002 and is run by Andy Walker. It is one of the many programmes that operates under the umbrella organisation Angling Unlimited.
Location:GHOF Bolton
GHOF Bolton is run by female angling coach Bridget Dawson. Established in 2008, the project works with schools, inclusion teams, and local youth groups to offer coarse angling sessions and the GHOF modules. The modules include both practical and class based learning around angling techniques, fish welfare and the environment.
