West Sussex Angling Accademy
West Sussex Angling Academy is a charity operating out of Henfolds lakes Fishery, in Dorking, Surrey.
The project offers angling related educational course that can teach basic skills in English and maths (Kingfisher course), through to BTEC level 2 courses. They work with a range of young people, including youth offending teams, local youth groups, and young people experiencing mental health issues.
We visited West Sussex Angling Academy to observe a session they were delivering to a group of young people from the Studio ADHD center and spoke with project coordinator Graham Cridland about his experience setting up the charity.
