GHOF Flintshire

GHOF Flintshire (Wales) was officially launched in July 2010. It is an initiative of the Flintshire Neighbourhood Watch Association (FNWA). The project is run by FNWA employee Allan Ellis and provides angling opportunities, peer mentoring and GHOF modules to young people in the local area.

Our researcher visited the launch event and had an opportunity to speak with many of the local supporters, including the police, local residents and young people. Young people in particular spoke of limited range of things to do in the area, and were looking forward to engaging in the fishing programme.
